I wrote this song in the summer of 2019 before Hannah, my wife, was pregnant. For a long time I've been looking forward to being a father, now that I am, it seemed like an appropriate time to release this song. This song is a declaration for myself. I am declaring that I am not living for temporary highs anymore, I'm living for something way bigger, for God, for my family. Grace & peace to everyone!

In the back of my mind I want a temporary high, but I'd regret it if I did.
I've got a really great job and a beautiful wife and I hope to have a couple of kids.
